Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for AI Engineer positions at Chennai IT companies. This role is based along the OMR IT Corridor and surrounding technology parks. You will join a dynamic IT team working on real-world projects with opportunities for growth and skill development.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered applications using large language models (LLMs)
• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines using LangChain and vector databases
• Build and fine-tune NLP models for text classification, NER, and summarization
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing products via REST APIs and SDKs
• Evaluate model quality using automated benchmarks and human feedback
• Optimize AI inference costs and latency using quantization and batching
• Collaborate with product teams to identify and prioritize AI use cases

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc. in Computer Science, AI, or related field
• 3 - 7 Years of AI or ML engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (GPT, Claude, Llama) and prompt engineering
• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, or ChromaDB)
• Experience with LangChain, Haystack, or similar AI orchestration frameworks
• Strong Python skills and understanding of transformer architectures
• Ability to build and evaluate AI prototypes rapidly
