📌 Key Responsibilities

• Teach and clinically supervise BDS and MDS students in all areas of prosthodontics
• Conduct patient assessments and treatment planning for fixed, removable, and implant-supported prostheses
• Demonstrate crown preparation, impression-making, and prosthesis delivery in clinical sessions
• Guide MDS students in dissertation research and clinical case documentation
• Liaise with the dental laboratory technician for case fabrication and quality review
• Participate in university examinations as examiner or observer as required
• Publish research in prosthodontics or implantology and attend national conferences

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MDS in Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge from a DCI-recognised institution
• DCI registration and assistant professor eligibility as per DCI norms
• 3 to 8 years of post-MDS prosthodontic clinical and teaching experience
• Proficiency in fixed and removable prosthodontics, including complete dentures
• Experience in student supervision and case mentoring in a clinical posting environment
• Research publication in peer-reviewed prosthodontic or dental journals preferred
• Knowledge of implant prosthetics concepts is advantageous
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
