📌 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on listed equities across assigned sectors using financial modelling
• Prepare detailed company research reports including DCF and relative valuation models
• Track quarterly earnings, management commentary, and sector developments for covered companies
• Publish buy, sell, and hold recommendations with target price and investment thesis
• Maintain financial models and update estimates following corporate events and data releases
• Coordinate with dealing and relationship teams to communicate research views to clients
• Monitor regulatory filings, analyst calls, and news flow for covered universe

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA Finance or CA qualification with strong accounting and valuation fundamentals
• NISM Series XV (Research Analyst) certification mandatory for SEBI-registered research roles
• Proficiency in MS Excel financial modelling, Bloomberg, or similar data platforms
• Strong written English for research report drafting and client communication
• Ability to work independently on sector coverage with minimum supervision
• Understanding of macroeconomic indicators and their impact on equity markets
• Prior internship or trainee experience in equity research preferred
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
