📌 Key Responsibilities

• Write advertising copy for print, digital, outdoor, and radio campaigns including headlines, body copy, taglines, and call-to-action lines for client brands
• Develop creative concepts in collaboration with the art director to produce integrated campaign ideas for pitch presentations and client briefs
• Write English and Tamil advertising copy for FMCG, retail, healthcare, and real estate clients served by the agency
• Interpret client creative briefs accurately and translate brand objectives into compelling advertising messages across multiple media formats
• Participate in brainstorming sessions with the creative team to generate multiple headline and concept options for each brief
• Revise and refine copy based on feedback from senior creatives, account managers, and client approvals within campaign production timelines
• Maintain a swipe file of award-winning advertising copy and stay current with campaigns across categories to continuously improve creative output

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Advertising, Journalism, or English with demonstrated interest in advertising copywriting
• Ability to write clear, persuasive advertising headlines and body copy in both English and Tamil for print and digital formats
• Understanding of basic advertising campaign structure including how headlines, visuals, and CTAs work together to communicate a brand message
• Portfolio of at least 3 to 5 copywriting samples from internships, college projects, freelance work, or self-initiated spec campaigns
• Willingness to learn how to read and respond to client briefs and translate marketing objectives into creative messaging directions
• Basic awareness of advertising formats across print, digital display, outdoor, and social media platforms
• Ability to work within deadlines, accept critical feedback on creative work, and revise copy rapidly in a fast-paced agency environment
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
