📌 Key Responsibilities

• Take full operational and financial responsibility for the packaging plant including production output, quality, cost, and safety targets
• Set and review monthly and quarterly plant P and L performance against budget with the management team
• Drive OEE improvement programs across all production lines and lead root cause analysis for major downtime and quality losses
• Serve as ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 management representative for third-party certification audits
• Oversee capital expenditure projects for machine procurement, plant expansion, and infrastructure upgrades
• Lead workforce planning, performance management, and industrial relations across all plant departments
• Report plant performance, risks, and strategic plans to the promoter or board of directors

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• How do you structure a monthly plant P and L review and what leading indicators do you track?
• Describe a major OEE improvement project you led in a packaging plant and the results you achieved
• How have you managed a plant ISO 9001 surveillance audit when a non-conformance was raised by the auditor?
• Describe your approach to workforce planning and managing labour relations in a packaging manufacturing environment
• How do you evaluate and prioritise capital expenditure proposals for new machinery in a packaging plant?
• Describe a plant expansion or greenfield setup project you have been involved in
• How do you align production capacity planning with customer demand forecasting in a packaging business?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
