📌 Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall academic and administrative leadership to the private dental college as Principal and Dean
• Hold and maintain DCI principal eligibility and ensure institutional compliance with all DCI norms and regulations
• Represent the institution in all dealings with Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, DCI, and government bodies
• Set the academic vision, research direction, and quality benchmarks for the college
• Oversee faculty appointments, promotions, and performance management across all departments
• Manage institutional finances in partnership with management, including fee collection, grants, and capital expenditure
• Lead the college's participation in accreditation processes and community dental health programmes

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MDS from a DCI-recognised institution in any specialty
• 18 to 30 years of post-MDS academic experience in DCI-affiliated dental institutions
• DCI recognition as eligible for the position of Principal - as per current DCI norms on qualifications and experience
• Professor-level teaching experience with a substantial research publication record
• Proven track record as HOD and in senior institutional leadership roles
• Experience managing DCI inspections, university affiliation, and regulatory compliance
• Visionary leadership combined with operational management capability
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
