📌 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time client margin utilisation and trigger alerts for margin shortfall or breach situations
• Calculate and report daily MTM profit and loss for client and proprietary positions
• Analyse Value at Risk (VaR) metrics and conduct stress testing on portfolio exposures
• Enforce exposure limits and position limits per SEBI and internal risk policy guidelines
• Coordinate with dealing team to manage risk during high-volatility market sessions
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly risk reports for management and compliance review
• Review and update risk frameworks in line with SEBI and exchange margin rule changes

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA Finance or CA with strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Minimum one year of risk management experience in a broking or financial institution
• Knowledge of SPAN margin, VaR methodology, and exchange margin framework
• Understanding of derivatives risk dynamics and option Greeks for F and O risk assessment
• Proficiency in MS Excel and risk MIS systems for real-time monitoring
• Ability to make rapid decisions under pressure during volatile market conditions
• Familiarity with SEBI risk management guidelines for stock brokers
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
