📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design and own enterprise information security architectures for clients spanning on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments aligned to Zero Trust principles.
• Develop security reference architectures, design patterns, and guardrails that guide client technology and engineering teams in building secure systems at scale.
• Lead security architecture reviews for major client technology initiatives including cloud migrations, application modernisation, MandA integrations, and new product launches.
• Define security requirements and control objectives for enterprise programmes, translating regulatory obligations (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, RBI guidelines) into technical architecture controls.
• Evaluate and select security technology solutions for clients including SIEM, EDR, PAM, CSPM, SASE, and Zero Trust network access platforms based on architecture fit and risk coverage.
• Advise client CISOs and technology leadership on security investment priorities, architecture roadmap sequencing, and security debt reduction strategies.
• Produce security architecture documentation including threat models, data flow diagrams, security control matrices, and architecture decision records (ADRs) for client programmes.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline with seven to fifteen years of progressive information security experience, including significant architecture responsibility.
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification from ISC2 is required for security architect roles at most Chennai private cyber security companies.
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise security architectures across multiple domains: network security, identity, cloud security, application security, and data protection.
• Deep knowledge of security architecture frameworks including SABSA, TOGAF with security extensions, NIST CSF, and Zero Trust Architecture (NIST SP 800-207).
• Broad familiarity with the security technology landscape including evaluation criteria for SIEM, EDR, PAM, SASE, CASB, CSPM, and application security tooling.
• Strong understanding of enterprise risk management principles and the ability to make security architecture trade-off decisions grounded in business risk context.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills with experience presenting complex security architecture proposals and recommendations to CISO, CTO, and board-level audiences.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
