📌 Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyse, and operationalise threat intelligence from open source, commercial, and dark web sources to support SOC detection and client advisory services.
• Monitor threat actor campaigns, ransomware groups, APT activity, and emerging CVEs relevant to client industries including BFSI, healthcare, and IT.
• Produce threat intelligence reports, executive briefings, and indicator bulletins to inform client security teams of actionable threats and recommended defensive measures.
• Manage and operate Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) tools such as MISP or OpenCTI to ingest, correlate, and distribute indicators of compromise (IOCs).
• Integrate threat intelligence feeds with SIEM and SOAR platforms to enrich alerts with adversary context and automate indicator blocking at security controls.
• Conduct OSINT investigations on threat actors, malware families, phishing campaigns, and data leak events affecting or targeting clients.
• Perform dark web monitoring for client brand mentions, credential dumps, stolen data, and infrastructure exposure using specialist tools and manual investigation.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology with two to six years of threat intelligence or SOC experience.
• Proficiency in OSINT methodologies and tools including Maltego, Shodan, VirusTotal, URLScan, and open-source intelligence aggregation platforms.
• Experience working with threat intelligence feeds and platforms such as MISP, OpenCTI, ThreatConnect, or Recorded Future for IOC management and dissemination.
• Understanding of the STIX and TAXII standards for structured threat intelligence sharing and integration with security tooling.
• Ability to profile threat actor groups using TTPs documented in MITRE ATTandCK and apply this knowledge to detection gap analysis and defensive recommendations.
• Familiarity with malware analysis basics including static indicator extraction, sandbox detonation, and interpretation of threat reports from security vendors.
• Strong analytical writing skills to produce threat intelligence products ranging from tactical IOC bulletins to strategic threat landscape assessments.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
