📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead brand strategy and design thinking engagements for studio clients requiring strategic input before visual design work commences
• Conduct consumer research, competitive audits, and category analysis to build brand positioning platforms that inform design brief development
• Facilitate brand strategy workshops with client leadership teams to align on brand purpose, personality, positioning, and visual identity direction
• Develop brand architecture recommendations for organisations managing multiple sub-brands, product lines, or service portfolios
• Write strategic design briefs that clearly articulate brand insight, target audience, competitive context, and design success criteria for the studio's creative teams
• Present strategic recommendations and design strategy rationales to senior client stakeholders including marketing directors, CMOs, and business founders
• Evaluate design output against strategic objectives and provide structured feedback that aligns creative direction with client business goals

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Des, MBA, or combined qualification with 4 to 10 years of experience in brand strategy, design strategy, or creative consulting within a design studio or brand consultancy
• Demonstrated portfolio of brand strategy projects showing positioning work, competitive analysis, and the translation of strategy into design brief and visual identity outcomes
• Strong facilitation skills for leading client workshops, brand discovery sessions, and creative strategy alignment meetings with senior stakeholders
• Deep knowledge of brand architecture frameworks, brand equity principles, and how visual identity systems connect to brand positioning strategy
• Excellent written communication skills for developing insight-driven strategy documents, brand positioning statements, and design brief frameworks
• Analytical capability to interpret consumer research, market data, and category dynamics and translate findings into clear strategic recommendations
• Experience working with FMCG, retail, healthcare, technology, or institutional clients at a brand strategy or creative consultancy level
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
