📌 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire nursing workforce of the hospital including staffing, deployment, and performance management
- Develop and implement nursing policies, protocols, and standards aligned with NABH accreditation requirements
- Monitor nursing care quality indicators including medication errors, patient falls, and pressure ulcer rates
- Plan nursing manpower requirements, recruitment, and induction training for new nursing staff
- Coordinate nursing training programs including BLS, ACLS, and speciality certification courses
- Prepare nursing department budget and manage duty roster, overtime, and leave within budget
- Chair nursing committee meetings and represent nursing department at hospital quality meetings
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- B.Sc. Nursing or M.Sc. Nursing with TNNMC registration
- 10 - 18 Years of clinical nursing experience with at least 4 years in nursing management
- Strong knowledge of NABH nursing standards, patient safety, and clinical quality indicators
- Experience managing a nursing workforce of 100+ nurses across multiple wards and ICUs
- Ability to develop nursing protocols, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives
- M.Sc. Nursing specialization in Medical-Surgical, Critical Care, or Nursing Administration preferred
- Strategic leadership and problem-solving skills for complex nursing department management
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
