📌 Key Responsibilities

• Write and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios for web and mobile applications
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across sprint cycles
• Log, prioritise, and track defects using JIRA or Azure DevOps with clear reproduction steps
• Conduct API testing using Postman to validate REST endpoint responses and error handling
• Test application behaviour across multiple browsers, devices, and screen resolutions
• Collaborate with developers during defect triage and verify bug fixes before sign-off
• Prepare test summary reports and participate in sprint review and retrospective meetings

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Understanding of software testing life cycle and defect management processes
• Ability to write detailed test cases covering positive, negative, and edge case scenarios
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar REST client tools
• Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-device testing techniques
• Understanding of agile sprint ceremonies and QA responsibilities within a scrum team
• Good analytical and communication skills for effective defect reporting and developer collaboration
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
