The role focuses on CATIA V5/V6 3D modelling, automotive DFMEA, tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&T, BIW and chassis design within Coimbatore's Automotive Components Company sector. 📌 Key Responsibilities
- Perform CATIA V5/V6 3D modelling, automotive DFMEA, tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&T, BIW and chassis design as per industry standards and company SOPs
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, TPM, OEE, Kaizen, Six Sigma Green Belt, MSA, SPC requirements
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations
- Monitor and report KPIs related to Design function
- Implement lean and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain documentation and records as per quality systems
- Support new model or product introductions when required
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering from a recognised university or institution
- 5 - 8 Years of experience in Design within Auto Components industry
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, TPM, OEE, Kaizen, Six Sigma Green Belt, MSA, SPC is essential
- Familiarity with Coimbatore's industrial zones and working environment preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in shifts as required
