📌 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD working drawings including floor plans, sections, elevations, and door and window schedules.
• Develop SketchUp 3D models for design development and client presentation under the direction of the project architect.
• Assist in the preparation of design development drawings and material finish schedules for client approval.
• Coordinate drawing revisions based on client feedback and update drawing sets accurately across all sheets.
• Prepare presentation boards and drawing packages for design review meetings with clients and consultants.
• Maintain the project drawing register ensuring all drawings are correctly numbered, dated, and filed.
• Support the project architect with coordination drawings, checking for conflicts between architectural and structural layouts.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Arch from a COA-recognized institution with 0 to 2 years of experience at a private architecture firm.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing complete working drawing sets as per architectural office standards.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp for 3D design development and client communication models.
• Ability to prepare material and finish schedules and coordinate them with drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of architectural drawing conventions, sheet layout, and drawing numbering systems.
• Attention to accuracy in drawing preparation and the ability to manage multiple revision cycles efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and building components to support working drawing preparation.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
