📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage P and L performance across a cluster of fashion retail stores in the assigned area of Chennai or Tamil Nadu
• Set store-level sales targets and coach store managers on strategies to achieve area-level revenue goals
• Conduct regular store visits to review VM standards, team performance, compliance, and customer experience
• Support new store opening activities including pre-opening setup, staff recruitment, and launch planning
• Coordinate area-level promotional calendars and VM rollouts in alignment with corporate buying and marketing teams
• Monitor competitor fashion retail activity in the area and submit market intelligence reports to regional management
• Manage area headcount planning, talent identification, and succession planning for store manager roles

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA in Retail Management, Marketing, or General Management from a recognised institution
• Five to twelve years of fashion retail experience with at least three years managing multiple stores or a large store
• Strong track record of achieving multi-store or area-level sales targets in fashion or apparel retail
• Excellent coaching and performance management skills for developing store managers into stronger commercial leaders
• Deep understanding of fashion retail P and L mechanics, VM standards, and operational KPIs across store formats
• Willingness to travel regularly across the assigned area to visit stores and attend regional meetings
• Strong analytical and commercial planning skills for area-level business review and target setting
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
