📌 Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting sarees, salwar kameez, kurtis, lehengas, and ethnic fusion wear based on occasion and preference
• Guide customers on fabric types, weave origins, care instructions, and regional textile traditions
• Recommend matching accessories, blouse fabrics, and dupatta combinations to complete ethnic ensembles
• Present bridal and festive collection pieces to high-value customers and assist with tailoring referrals
• Achieve monthly sales targets for the ethnic wear section through consultative and upsell approaches
• Maintain display and folding standards for all sarees and ethnic garments on the showroom floor
• Support the team during peak festive seasons including Pongal, Diwali, and wedding season rushes

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 12th pass or Graduate in any discipline from a recognised board or institution
• Sound knowledge of saree varieties, salwar fabrics, kurti styles, and regional ethnic textiles
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to guide high-value ethnic wear purchase decisions
• Fluency in Tamil and conversational English for customer interaction in showrooms
• Patience and empathy for assisting customers through long ethnic wear selection processes
• Awareness of festive and bridal wear trends and occasion-appropriate outfit recommendations
• Prior experience in an ethnic wear showroom or textile retail outlet is preferred
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
