📋 Job Description

Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for Assistant Professor - CSE positions in Chennai private engineering colleges. This role is with an AICTE-approved self-financing engineering college affiliated to Anna University or another recognized technical university, offering a structured academic career with NBA accreditation support and faculty development programmes.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Teach B.E./B.Tech CSE core subjects: Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and Software Engineering
• Conduct C, Java, Python, and web development laboratory sessions and guide students in debugging and project development
• Teach emerging electives: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, or DevOps as per curriculum
• Guide students in final-year capstone projects, inter-collegiate coding competitions, and hackathons
• Prepare OBE documentation: course files, CO-PO mapping, attainment reports, and course outcome analysis
• Participate in AICTE-ATAL and NPTEL Faculty Development Programmes to update technical skills
• Contribute to NBA/NAAC accreditation documentation for CSE department criteria

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.E. or M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or related stream from a recognized institution
• Ph.D. in CSE, Data Science, AI/ML, Cyber Security, or Computer Networks preferred for better salary and senior roles
• 0 - 6 Years of teaching experience in an engineering college or relevant IT industry experience
• Strong subject knowledge in core CSE: Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS, OS, and Computer Networks
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages: Java, Python, C++, or similar
• Familiarity with OBE curriculum, CO-PO mapping, and Anna University CBCS syllabus
• GATE qualification in CS (CS paper) is valued for research-oriented colleges
