📌 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students during orthopaedic ward and OT postings
• Conduct bedside teaching on fractures, joint disorders, and trauma management
• Assess students during OSCE and semester clinical examinations
• Perform orthopaedic procedures in the teaching hospital under consultant supervision
• Participate in departmental research on musculoskeletal and trauma topics
• Assist the head of department in departmental administration and scheduling

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MS Orthopaedics from an NMC-recognised institution required
• NMC or state medical council registration mandatory
• Minimum teaching experience as per NMC assistant professor eligibility norms required
• Operation theatre and trauma ward experience in a teaching hospital required
• Research publications or case reports in orthopaedics preferred
• Ability to conduct surgical skills and fracture management teaching required
• Strong clinical examination and communication skills required
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
