📌 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct hazard analysis and risk assessment (HARA) for automotive systems to derive ASIL levels
• Perform FMEA and FMEDA on hardware and software components to identify safety goals
• Write and review safety requirements at system, hardware, and software levels
• Ensure MISRA C and MISRA C++ compliance for ASIL-B and above software components
• Support software safety analysis activities - DFA, DFMEA, and software FMEA
• Prepare and review safety cases, safety plans, and work product reviews
• Collaborate with embedded developers and hardware engineers to implement safety mechanisms

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• How do you determine the ASIL level for a function during HARA?
• What is the difference between ASIL decomposition and ASIL tailoring?
• How do FMEA and FMEDA differ in the context of ISO 26262 hardware evaluation?
• What diagnostic coverage metrics are required for ASIL-C hardware safety mechanisms?
• How do you perform a Dependent Failure Analysis (DFA) for a dual-channel safety architecture?

• Have you used tools such as Medini Analyze, IEC Tools, or LDRA for safety analysis?
