📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design electronic schematics for microcontroller-based PCBs including power, communication, and interface circuits
• Perform component selection and create accurate BOMs with alternate part identification
• Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to review and approve layout for signal integrity and EMC
• Debug prototype hardware using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analysers
• Write and review hardware design documents, test plans, and bring-up procedures
• Support EMC pre-compliance testing and resolve emission or immunity issues
• Coordinate with firmware engineers during board bring-up and hardware validation phases

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• How do you design a power supply rail for a 1.8V digital core with a 300mA load from a 5V input?
• What decoupling strategy do you use for a 100MHz ARM SoC on a 4-layer PCB?
• How do you calculate trace impedance for a 50-ohm single-ended USB 2.0 trace?
• Describe a hardware bug you found during bring-up and how you resolved it.
• How do you select and specify a crystal oscillator for an STM32 microcontroller?
• What is common-mode filtering and when would you add a common-mode choke on a CAN bus line?
• Have you used SPICE simulation for power stage or filter design verification?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
