📌 Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming vendor deliveries at the warehouse inbound dock, verify quantity and condition of goods against purchase order or delivery challan
• Process Goods Receipt Notes in WMS or ERP system accurately with correct SKU, batch, quantity, and vendor details
• Inspect incoming goods for packaging damage, label accuracy, expiry date compliance, and product condition before putaway
• Scan barcodes or RFID tags on incoming cartons to register inbound stock into the WMS location system
• Coordinate with the putaway team or forklift operators to move received goods to designated bin locations promptly
• Raise discrepancy notes or return-to-vendor documentation for short shipments, damaged goods, or incorrect products
• Maintain inbound dock records, pending delivery logs, and vendor performance data for management review

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Have you processed GRNs in any WMS or ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally?
• How do you inspect incoming goods for damage, quantity shortfall, or labelling errors at the dock?
• Are you familiar with barcode scanning for inbound stock registration in a WMS?
• Have you raised discrepancy notes or coordinated return-to-vendor documentation for incorrect or damaged deliveries?
• Have you worked on a busy inbound dock managing multiple vendor truck arrivals simultaneously?
• Are you comfortable coordinating with forklift operators and store staff for putaway after receiving?
• What types of products have you received - FMCG, pharma, automotive parts, or general merchandise?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
