📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts for residential apartments, villas, and small commercial spaces from brief to final design.
• Prepare complete drawing sets including floor plans, elevations, sections, and furniture layout drawings in AutoCAD.
• Create 3D massing models in SketchUp and render basic visualizations for client concept approval presentations.
• Specify materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings for each project and prepare itemized specification sheets.
• Present design concepts and revisions to clients, incorporate feedback, and progress the design to final approval.
• Coordinate with the 3D visualization team to produce photorealistic renders and walkthroughs for final client presentations.
• Prepare complete design documentation for handover to the site supervision team for execution.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Des or Diploma in Interior Design from a recognized institution with 1 to 4 years of firm experience.
• Demonstrated portfolio of independently designed residential and commercial interior projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D for complete working drawing preparation.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp for concept modelling and basic visualization.
• Experience specifying Indian and imported materials, hardware, and furnishings for interior projects.
• Confident client-facing communication for concept presentations and design review meetings.
• Ability to manage design development across multiple projects simultaneously within firm timelines.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
