📌 Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in developing interior design concepts for residential and small commercial projects.
• Prepare AutoCAD 2D layout drawings including furniture arrangement, flooring patterns, and reflected ceiling plans.
• Create mood boards and design presentation sheets using Photoshop and Illustrator for client review meetings.
• Research and shortlist materials, finishes, tiles, and furnishings as directed by the lead designer.
• Support site visits to verify measurements, check existing conditions, and update drawings with field observations.
• Coordinate with vendors for material samples, swatches, and catalogue references required during design development.
• Assist in preparing design documentation including drawing sets and specification lists for site execution.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Des or Diploma in Interior Design from a recognized institution; CIDA or COA-affiliated institute preferred.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in interior design firm or residential design internship.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for space planning and furniture layout drawings.
• Basic skills in SketchUp for 3D concept modelling and massing studies.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for mood board and presentation preparation.
• Good aesthetic sense for material selection, colour coordination, and interior style development.
• Ability to work collaboratively under senior designers and manage multiple project tasks simultaneously.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
