📌 Key Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables to specification for all active delivery menu brands operating in the cloud kitchen.
• Set up mise en place stations before each cooking shift ensuring all pre-prepared ingredients are correctly portioned and labelled.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned workstations, chopping boards, and kitchen surfaces throughout the production shift.
• Receive raw ingredient deliveries, verify quantities against purchase orders, and store items correctly following FIFO rotation.
• Replenish ingredient stocks at cooking stations during active production hours to avoid delays in delivery order fulfilment.
• Segregate kitchen waste into labelled bins and transfer waste to the designated disposal area at defined intervals.
• Support cooks during peak delivery order periods by preparing additional prep items as directed by the kitchen lead.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 12th standard pass minimum; ITI food production or catering certificate is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in any commercial kitchen, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene practices and the importance of personal cleanliness in a delivery kitchen.
• Physical fitness to stand throughout long production shifts and handle moderate prep volumes consistently.
• Willingness to work morning, afternoon, or evening shifts as assigned by the kitchen manager or hub lead.
• FSSAI food handler certificate is valued; training may be provided by the cloud kitchen operator during onboarding.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from senior kitchen staff accurately and without supervision.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
