- Maintain course files, attendance records, and internal marks as per DOTE norms
- Assist in practical examination and evaluate student vehicle service and diagnostic skills
- Participate in FDP and industry update programmes relevant to automobile technology
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in Automobile Engineering or B.E./B.Tech. in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering meeting DOTE lecturer eligibility
- 0 - 5 Years of polytechnic teaching or automotive industry service experience
- Strong knowledge of core Automobile Engineering diploma subjects: Engine Technology, Transmission, Electricals, and Vehicle Maintenance
- Practical skills in engine overhaul, vehicle diagnostic tools, and service procedures for petrol and diesel vehicles
- Familiarity with modern automotive systems: fuel injection, CAN bus basics, and hybrid vehicle awareness
- Good communication skills for classroom instruction in Tamil and English
- Willingness to update skills through FDP and automotive technology workshops
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
