📌 Key Responsibilities

• Teach diploma-level Mechanical Engineering subjects including Engineering Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Strength of Materials, Manufacturing Technology, Fluid Mechanics, and Machine Design
• Conduct lab sessions for Material Testing, Fluid Mechanics, Machine Shop, and CAD drawing labs
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching notes, and internal assessment questions aligned with DOTE and SBTET diploma syllabus
• Guide students in final-year diploma project work and assist in project report preparation and review
• Maintain course files, attendance registers, and internal marks as per DOTE norms
• Participate in faculty development programmes organized by DOTE and technical education bodies
• Assist in practical examination conduct and evaluation under the supervision of senior faculty

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized DOTE-affiliated institution with 2 years industry experience, or B.E./B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering meeting DOTE lecturer eligibility
• 0 - 5 Years of polytechnic teaching or manufacturing industry experience
• Strong subject knowledge in core Mechanical Engineering diploma subjects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks for engineering drawing and CAD lab support
• Ability to conduct practical sessions and guide diploma students in project work
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English for classroom instruction
• Willingness to participate in FDP and academic development programmes
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
