📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement NLP pipelines for text classification, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and information extraction tasks
• Fine-tune pre-trained transformer models such as BERT, RoBERTa, and GPT variants on domain-specific datasets for client applications
• Build and deploy NLP microservices as REST APIs for integration into product or analytics platforms
• Work with large language models and prompt engineering frameworks to develop text generation and summarisation solutions
• Evaluate NLP model performance using standard benchmarks and design error analysis processes to guide improvement iterations
• Collaborate with data engineers to build text preprocessing and corpus management pipelines at scale
• Stay current with advances in NLP research and identify applicable techniques for client problem sets

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.Sc. Computer Science or Computational Linguistics, or B.E. CS with two to seven years of NLP engineering experience
• Deep expertise in transformer-based models and the Hugging Face ecosystem including Transformers, Datasets, and Tokenizers
• Hands-on experience fine-tuning BERT, RoBERTa, T5, or similar models on task-specific datasets
• Proficiency in Python NLP libraries including spaCy, NLTK, and Gensim
• Experience deploying NLP models as scalable REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask
• Understanding of tokenisation, embedding techniques, attention mechanisms, and sequence modelling architectures
• Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate for semantic search applications
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
