📋 Job Description

Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for Node.js Developer positions at Chennai IT companies. This role is based along the OMR IT Corridor and surrounding technology parks. You will join a dynamic IT team working on real-world projects with opportunities for growth and skill development.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance server-side applications using Node.js and Express
• Design RESTful and GraphQL APIs consumed by web and mobile frontends
• Integrate MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redis databases with Node.js services
• Implement authentication flows using JWT, OAuth 2.0, and session management
• Deploy Node.js microservices using Docker containers and Kubernetes
• Optimize API response times, handle async operations, and manage event loops
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest or Mocha frameworks

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
• 2 - 5 Years of Node.js backend development experience
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js ecosystem
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, or PostgreSQL databases
• Hands-on with Docker and cloud deployment (AWS or Azure)
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and async programming
• Knowledge of API security, rate limiting, and CORS management
