📌 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Physical Education classes for all classes following the CBSE or State Board PE curriculum guidelines.
• Train students in athletics, team sports, yoga, and individual fitness activities across all age groups.
• Organise and manage sports day events, inter-house competitions, and inter-school sports meets.
• Monitor student physical fitness levels and maintain health and fitness records for annual PE assessment.
• Coach school sports teams in cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, or other designated sports.
• Teach basic first aid and safety procedures relevant to sports and physical activity environments.
• Collaborate with the school administration on Annual Sports Day planning, trophy ceremonies, and team selection.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.P.Ed. (Bachelor of Physical Education) from a recognised university is the mandatory qualification.
• M.P.Ed. (Master of Physical Education) holders are given preference for senior PE teacher positions.
• CTET Paper II is required for CBSE-affiliated school PE teacher positions at the secondary level.
• State-level or district-level sports participation certificates are an advantage.
• Knowledge of yoga instruction and certification from a recognised yoga institution is preferred.
• First aid certification and basic sports injury management knowledge is expected.
