📌 Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall academic, administrative, and financial leadership to the pharmacy college across all departments and programmes
• Lead all PCI recognition and periodic inspection cycles including self-study preparation, documentation submission, and inspection team coordination
• Manage affiliation with Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University including annual renewal, programme approvals, and student intake compliance
• Lead NBA or NAAC accreditation activities and maintain institutional quality benchmarks for pharmacy education
• Manage faculty recruitment, performance review, and capacity building across all pharmacy departments
• Oversee laboratory infrastructure compliance, library standards, and student clinical attachment agreements for PCI norms
• Represent the pharmacy college before PCI, Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, AICTE, and college management with full statutory authority

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Ph.D. in Pharmacy from a recognized university is strongly preferred; M.Pharm with exceptional experience may be considered for smaller institutions
• 15 - 28 Years of pharmacy education experience with at least 10 years in teaching and 5 years in a Professor or HOD role as per PCI Principal norms
• Proven PCI recognition management track record including successful completion of inspection cycles
• In-depth knowledge of PCI norms for pharmacy college recognition, faculty qualifications, infrastructure, and programme compliance
• Strong leadership, institutional vision, and stakeholder management skills for managing trustees, faculty, students, and regulatory bodies
• National pharmacy education standing through conference participation, PCI or regulatory body roles, or pharmacy research publications
• Experience with NBA, NAAC, or ISO 9001 quality systems preferred for leading a quality-driven pharmacy institution
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
