📌 Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall academic, administrative, and financial leadership for the private polytechnic and diploma institution
• Maintain and strengthen DOTE affiliation, manage affiliation renewal filings, and lead all DOTE inspection visits
• Lead SBTET examination coordination including student registration, hall ticket management, practical examination arrangements, and result follow-up
• Recruit and retain qualified faculty and non-teaching staff meeting DOTE norms, and implement faculty development programmes
• Oversee financial planning, fee collection, expenditure management, and statutory compliance in coordination with management
• Represent the institution at DOTE, SBTET, and technical education association forums and build relationships with industry partners
• Monitor institution-wide student outcomes, attendance standards, examination results, and placement activities

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. in Engineering from a recognized institution meeting DOTE principal eligibility criteria
• 15 - 30 Years of progressive academic and administrative experience in polytechnic or technical education
• In-depth knowledge of DOTE affiliation norms, SBTET examination procedures, and Tamil Nadu technical education regulations
• Demonstrated track record in leading DOTE inspections, affiliation renewals, and compliance management
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for managing diverse faculty, non-teaching staff, and management stakeholders
• Financial management and institutional planning ability for a multi-branch diploma institution
• Excellent communication skills for DOTE, SBTET, industry, and parent community interactions
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
