📌 Key Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for one or more product areas, defining vision, strategy, and prioritisation based on customer needs and business goals.
• Write clear, detailed product requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
• Partner with engineering, design, and QA teams in agile sprint cycles to ensure timely, high-quality feature delivery.
• Conduct customer interviews, analyse usage data, and synthesise feedback to continuously refine the product backlog and roadmap.
• Define and track key product metrics including activation rates, feature adoption, retention, and revenue impact.
• Lead cross-functional go-to-market coordination for new feature launches including sales enablement, marketing content, and customer communication.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across engineering, sales, customer success, and executive leadership, communicating product progress transparently.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA from a reputed institution or B.E./B.Tech with strong business acumen and four to ten years of product management experience.
• Demonstrated experience owning a product roadmap end-to-end for a B2B SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software product.
• Strong command of agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, with hands-on experience managing product backlogs in JIRA or similar tools.
• Data fluency: ability to define and track KPIs, run SQL queries for product analytics, and use data visualisation tools independently.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills including the ability to influence without authority across engineering, sales, and design.
• Experience working closely with customers and translating qualitative and quantitative research into validated product requirements.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and technical concepts sufficient to have credible conversations with senior engineers.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
