📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Pharmaceutics department including curriculum planning, practical scheduling, faculty management, research coordination, and PCI compliance
• Teach advanced M.Pharm and Ph.D.-level Pharmaceutics courses including novel drug delivery, advanced dosage form design, and pharmaceutical technology
• Supervise Ph.D. and M.Pharm research scholars in formulation, drug delivery, and pharmaceutical technology topics through completion and publication
• Publish research in high-impact Scopus, SCI, and Web of Science indexed pharmaceutical journals and apply for DST, SERB, CSIR, and DBT research grants
• Chair the departmental Board of Studies and participate in university academic bodies for curriculum development
• Lead PCI inspection preparation for the department including faculty documentation, laboratory compliance, and student records
• Build research collaborations with pharmaceutical industry and other pharmacy schools for funded project and student internship opportunities

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from a recognized university; M.Pharm with exceptional publication record considered at some institutions
• 10 - 20 Years of pharmacy college teaching experience with at least 5 years in a senior faculty or department head role
• Extensive research publication record in Scopus or SCI-indexed pharmaceutical journals
• Proven experience supervising Ph.D. and M.Pharm dissertation students to successful completion
• In-depth PCI compliance knowledge for managing department documentation, laboratory standards, and inspection preparation
• Leadership and team management skills for guiding a multi-faculty pharmaceutics department
• National recognition in pharmaceutics research through grant funding, conference keynotes, or journal editorship
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
