Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for Project Manager positions at Chennai IT companies. This role is based along the OMR IT Corridor and surrounding technology parks. You will join a dynamic IT team working on real-world projects with opportunities for growth and skill development.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation through closure
• Create detailed project plans, WBS, and milestone schedules using MS Project or Jira
• Manage project budgets, track actuals, and report variance to stakeholders
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependency blockers
• Conduct regular status meetings, steering committee updates, and client reviews
• Coordinate with multiple vendors, offshore teams, and functional managers
• Drive post-project retrospectives and capture lessons learned for process improvement

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech/MBA in Computer Science, IT, or Management
• 7 - 12 Years of IT project management experience
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification mandatory or preferred
• Experience managing projects worth Rs.1 crore+ budget
• Hands-on with JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project for planning and tracking
• Strong stakeholder communication and escalation management skills
• Experience managing distributed teams across time zones
