📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for web and mobile learning platform features including course browsing, video playback, quiz submission, and payment workflows.
• Test video player functionality across network conditions, device types, and operating system versions to ensure consistent playback quality for learners.
• Perform API testing using Postman to validate backend service responses for learner progress sync, assessment scoring, and content catalog endpoints.
• Execute LMS content testing to verify SCORM package functionality, course navigation, completion tracking, and certificate generation workflows.
• Document and report defects in JIRA with clear reproduction steps, severity classification, device or browser context, and supporting screenshots or video evidence.
• Conduct regression and smoke testing before each platform release to ensure existing features remain functional after new code deployments.
• Collaborate with mobile developers to test Android and iOS app builds using Appium or manual device testing, covering offline mode, push notifications, and download features.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or IT with one to four years of web and mobile application testing experience.
• Ability to design comprehensive test cases covering functional, regression, boundary, and negative testing scenarios for consumer-facing digital platforms.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, validating response codes, payloads, and error handling for RESTful backend services.
• Familiarity with JIRA or equivalent bug tracking tools for defect reporting, status tracking, and release sign-off workflows.
• Basic experience with Selenium WebDriver or Appium for web or mobile test automation scripting is an advantage.
• Understanding of video playback testing including adaptive streaming behaviour, playback speed testing, and offline download verification on mobile devices.
• Detail-oriented, methodical approach to testing with strong ability to reproduce intermittent issues and provide developers with actionable defect reports.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
