• Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop support plans for students with emotional or behavioural needs.
• Organise workshops on study skills, examination stress management, peer relationships, and digital wellness.
• Conduct psychometric assessments for career guidance and learning difficulty screening where applicable.
• Maintain confidential case records and refer students requiring clinical intervention to appropriate external professionals.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.A. or M.Sc. in Psychology or Counseling from a recognised university is the primary qualification required.
• M.Ed. with specialisation in Guidance and Counseling is also accepted for school counselor positions.
• Additional certifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, career guidance tools, or psychometric assessment are preferred.
• Minimum one year of counseling experience in a school, college, or clinical setting is generally expected.
