📋 Job Description

Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for SDET Engineer positions at Chennai IT companies. This role is based along the OMR IT Corridor and surrounding technology parks. You will join a dynamic IT team working on real-world projects with opportunities for growth and skill development.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop test automation frameworks using Selenium, Pytest, or Playwright
• Write automated test suites for UI, API, and integration testing
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Implement BDD test scenarios using Cucumber or SpecFlow
• Develop Page Object Model (POM) frameworks for scalable UI test automation
• Contribute to production code quality through bug investigation and root cause analysis
• Mentor junior testers and evangelize testing best practices across the engineering team

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3 - 7 Years of test automation and software development experience
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and TestNG or JUnit
• Experience with CI/CD integration for automated test execution
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave, SpecFlow)
• Ability to contribute to both production code and test code
