📋 Job Description

Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for Security Engineer positions at Chennai IT companies. This role is based along the OMR IT Corridor and surrounding technology parks. You will join a dynamic IT team working on real-world projects with opportunities for growth and skill development.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for cloud infrastructure and application layers
• Review and harden IAM policies, network security groups, and data encryption configs
• Implement Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and DDoS protection for internet-facing services
• Conduct security architecture reviews and threat modeling for new product features
• Integrate SAST (Checkmarx, SonarQube) and DAST tools into CI/CD pipelines
• Lead compliance efforts for ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and GDPR requirements
• Respond to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and implement fixes

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 4 - 8 Years of information security engineering experience
• CISSP, CISM, or AWS Security Specialty certification preferred
• Hands-on with cloud security (AWS or Azure security services)
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and security tool integration in CI/CD
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS)
• Strong understanding of PKI, encryption standards, and network security
