📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of advanced ML projects from business problem framing through data exploration, modelling, and production deployment
• Design and implement MLOps pipelines for automated model training, evaluation, versioning, and serving using tools such as MLflow or SageMaker
• Develop deep learning models using TensorFlow or PyTorch for complex image, text, and time-series prediction problems
• Define feature engineering strategies and contribute to feature store design for reuse across multiple models and teams
• Conduct rigorous model validation including statistical significance testing, bias auditing, and business impact quantification
• Mentor junior and mid-level data scientists on modelling best practices, experimental design, and technical writing
• Engage with senior clients and business leaders to define ML strategy and evaluate feasibility of new analytics use cases

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with four to nine years of applied ML experience
• Deep expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms with strong theoretical and practical foundations
• Experience deploying ML models to production using cloud-native tools such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Vertex AI
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch for complex modelling use cases
• Strong understanding of MLOps practices including model monitoring, drift detection, and retraining pipelines
• Ability to mentor a team of data scientists and lead technical direction on modelling projects
• Excellent client-facing communication skills for presenting model findings and strategic recommendations
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
