📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead design development for high-value residential and commercial interior projects from concept through execution.
• Conduct independent client design presentations including concept theme, material boards, and 3D visualization walkthroughs.
• Mentor junior designers and review drawing sets for accuracy, design quality, and execution feasibility.
• Specify premium materials, bespoke furniture, and custom joinery elements for high-ticket client projects.
• Manage design scope, revision cycles, and client approvals to keep projects on schedule.
• Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to resolve design-execution conflicts during fit-out.
• Contribute to the firm's design language development and support business development presentations for new project pitches.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Des in Interior Design or B.Arch from a CIDA or COA-recognized institution with 3 to 8 years of firm experience.
• Demonstrated portfolio of independently delivered premium residential and commercial interior projects.
• Strong client communication and presentation skills for independent design brief and concept review meetings.
• Expert-level AutoCAD proficiency for complete working drawing and specification document preparation.
• Experience specifying and sourcing premium Indian and imported materials, custom joinery, and bespoke furnishings.
• Ability to mentor and review work of junior and mid-level designers within the studio.
• Knowledge of interior project timelines, vendor ecosystems, and execution sequencing for fit-out projects.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
