📌 Key Responsibilities

• Teach advanced diploma subjects in the relevant engineering branch with subject mastery and examination-relevant depth
• Coordinate internal assessment schedules, practical examination arrangements, and SBTET examination formalities for the department
• Mentor junior lecturers in lesson planning, teaching methods, and DOTE-compliant documentation
• Guide final-year diploma student projects and evaluate project reports and presentations
• Prepare the department for DOTE inspections including course files, student records, and infrastructure readiness
• Contribute to curriculum review and academic planning under the Head of Department
• Take on additional departmental responsibilities such as timetable management, attendance analysis, and fee defaulter follow-up

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (relevant branch) with 5 or more years of polytechnic teaching experience and DOTE senior/grade-1 lecturer recognition, or B.E./B.Tech. equivalent
• 5 - 12 Years of diploma polytechnic teaching experience
• DOTE senior lecturer or grade-1 lecturer designation or equivalent recognition from the institution
• Strong command of the diploma branch subject matter and familiarity with SBTET examination patterns
• Demonstrated mentoring and student guidance ability
• Good administrative and coordination skills for internal exam and inspection preparation
• Commitment to academic quality and student outcome improvement
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
