📌 Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical product roadmap for platform, API, or infrastructure product areas, balancing engineering investment with business impact.
• Define and communicate clear technical requirements, API contracts, and system behaviour specifications to engineering teams.
• Partner with engineering leads and architects to review technical designs, evaluate trade-offs, and ensure architectural alignment with product goals.
• Drive developer experience improvements for internal platform products or external developer-facing APIs and SDKs.
• Coordinate technical dependencies across multiple engineering teams, managing shared platform backlogs and prioritisation conflicts.
• Translate complex technical trade-offs into business impact narratives for executive and commercial stakeholders.
• Monitor platform adoption metrics, API usage telemetry, and developer satisfaction signals to continuously improve the technical product.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or IT with five to twelve years of experience combining software engineering and product management.
• Prior software engineering background with demonstrated ability to read code, understand system architectures, and engage credibly in technical design discussions.
• Experience owning a technical product area such as a platform, API product, data pipeline, or developer tooling.
• Strong ability to write technical product requirements documents (PRDs) that engineering teams can act on without ambiguity.
• Familiarity with API design principles, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure concepts relevant to SaaS product platforms.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional alignment across multiple engineering teams, resolving technical dependency and prioritisation conflicts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present technical product strategy to both engineering leaders and non-technical executives.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
