📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead UX research activities including user interviews, usability tests, and competitor analysis to inform product design decisions.
• Create low-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that communicate design intent clearly to product and engineering teams.
• Design polished, pixel-perfect high-fidelity UI screens in Figma aligned with the product's design system and brand guidelines.
• Build and maintain a scalable design system including component libraries, typography scales, colour tokens, and interaction patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers to define user stories and translate business requirements into intuitive, user-centred design solutions.
• Work closely with frontend engineers during development to conduct design QA and ensure implementation fidelity.
• Analyse product usage data and user feedback to identify UX improvement opportunities and prioritise iterative design enhancements.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or a related field; B.E./B.Tech candidates with a strong design portfolio are also considered.
• Proficiency in Figma as the primary design tool, with working knowledge of Adobe XD or equivalent prototyping tools.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct user research, synthesise findings, and translate them into actionable design improvements.
• Experience building or contributing to product design systems including component libraries and design tokens.
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design for web and mobile.
• Ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining design integrity.
• A portfolio demonstrating product design work: wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity screens, and delivered design projects.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
