📌 Key Responsibilities

• Handle parent escalations, disciplinary matters, and staff performance issues in consultation with the Principal.
• Ensure compliance with CBSE or board affiliation requirements, inspection readiness, and statutory record maintenance.
• Represent the school at board meetings, parent forums, community events, and inter-school activities.
• Support the Principal in staff recruitment, appraisal coordination, and professional development planning.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• M.Ed. from a recognised university with specialisation in Educational Administration is the preferred qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of teaching experience with a substantial period in academic leadership or management roles.
• Prior experience as Academic Coordinator, Department Head, or Senior Teacher in a CBSE school is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CBSE affiliation norms, NEP 2020 implementation, and school governance practices.
• Excellent interpersonal leadership, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing diverse staff teams and handling parent and community relations professionally.
• Proficiency in school ERP systems, administrative documentation, and statutory compliance reporting.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
