📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the entire fashion retail operations function across all stores, cities, and formats in the organisation
• Manage the national or regional fashion retail P and L and present performance to the board and investors
• Define retail store format strategy including space planning, category mix, VM standards, and brand experience vision
• Drive national vendor and buying strategy in alignment with private label and sourced range revenue targets
• Build and develop the area and store management leadership pipeline across the fashion retail organisation
• Oversee new city and new store format expansion planning including site selection support and pre-opening leadership
• Lead retail technology, digital integration, and e-commerce alignment initiatives across the fashion retail chain

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA from a premier institution; additional qualifications in strategy, fashion business, or general management are advantageous
• Twelve to twenty-two years of progressive fashion retail experience with at least six years in a regional or national leadership role
• Demonstrated track record of managing large-scale multi-city or national fashion retail P and L with measurable growth outcomes
• Extensive experience in fashion retail format development, multi-city store expansion, and large-scale workforce leadership
• Board-level communication and presentation skills with experience in investor relations and external stakeholder management
• Deep functional expertise across operations, buying, VM, supply chain, HR, and technology in a fashion retail context
• Prior experience as a Regional Director, COO, or National Head at a large organised fashion or apparel retail chain
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
