📋 Job Description

Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for Cosmetic Dentist / Aesthetic Dentist positions in Coimbatore's private Dental Clinic Chain sector. 📌 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cosmetic dental consultations including facial and smile analysis, digital smile design mock-ups, and patient expectation alignment before treatment planning.
• Prepare teeth for porcelain veneers or lumineers by minimal tooth reduction, impression or digital scan, temporary veneer placement, and final veneer bonding using dual-cure adhesive systems.
• Perform direct composite bonding for diastema closure, tooth reshaping, minor chip repair, and smile enhancement in anterior teeth without full crown preparation.
• Administer in-office and take-home teeth whitening using bleaching agents and light-activation systems, screen patients for suitability, and manage sensitivity side effects.
• Design complete smile makeovers combining veneers, teeth whitening, composite bonding, crown lengthening, and gum recontouring for comprehensive aesthetic transformation cases.
• Coordinate with the periodontist for crown lengthening and gingival recontouring procedures required as part of a cosmetic dental treatment plan for improved smile proportions.
• Use digital photography and smile analysis software to document pre-treatment aesthetics, generate digital smile design previews, and compare pre and post-treatment outcomes.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• BDS or MDS from a DCI-recognised institution with additional cosmetic dentistry training, smile design certification, or a postgraduate course in aesthetic dentistry.
• Proficiency in porcelain veneer preparation, impression or digital scanning, temporary veneer fabrication, and final veneer bonding using total etch or self-etch adhesive protocols.
• Skill in direct composite bonding for diastema closure, tooth contouring, and anterior aesthetic restoration using layering techniques and shade characterisation.
• Experience in administering in-office teeth whitening procedures and dispensing take-home whitening kits with appropriate patient selection and sensitivity management.
• Competency in digital smile design including facial analysis principles, golden proportion assessment, and use of smile design software for patient presentation and treatment planning.
• Ability to plan and communicate comprehensive smile makeover treatment plans including sequencing of procedures, lab coordination, and cost presentation.
• Good aesthetic eye, attention to detail, and manual dexterity for achieving predictable outcomes in high-visibility anterior cosmetic restorations.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
