📌 Key Responsibilities

• Generate dental treatment bills accurately by entering treatment codes, procedure fees, and applicable discounts into the dental practice management billing software.
• Submit insurance claims and TPA (Third Party Administrator) pre-authorisation requests for patients with corporate dental insurance coverage, tracking claim status and follow-up.
• Coordinate with dental insurance companies and TPA help desks for claim clarifications, resubmissions of rejected claims, and payment settlement follow-up.
• Perform accounts receivable follow-up by identifying outstanding patient balances, contacting patients or corporate HR contacts, and resolving billing disputes.
• Reconcile daily cash, UPI, card, and insurance payment collections against the appointment schedule and report discrepancies to the clinic manager or finance supervisor.
• Manage corporate client billing by generating consolidated monthly invoices for tie-up companies, matching treatment records to authorised treatment lists, and dispatching invoices on schedule.
• Maintain accurate patient billing records in the CRM and billing software, archive supporting documentation for insurance claims, and assist during internal billing audits.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or any discipline with knowledge of medical or dental billing workflows and accounts receivable processes.
• Familiarity with dental procedure coding including common treatment codes for scaling, extractions, fillings, root canal treatment, crowns, and dentures used in insurance claim submissions.
• Experience with TPA coordination for dental insurance claim submission, pre-authorisation tracking, rejection resubmission, and payment follow-up.
• Proficiency in dental practice management billing software or general HMS billing modules for invoice generation, payment posting, and outstanding balance reporting.
• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail for billing reconciliation, cash collection verification, and corporate invoice generation.
• Communication skills in Tamil and English for following up with patients on outstanding balances and liaising with corporate HR contacts on employee claim status.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel for billing data compilation, outstanding reports, and monthly accounts receivable ageing summaries.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
