📋 Job Description

Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for HVAC Technician positions in Coimbatore's private MEP and Infrastructure Company sector. 📌 Key Responsibilities

• Install split AC, VRF, and cassette units at commercial and residential project sites as per MEP drawings.
• Commission and test AHU, FCU, and chiller systems after installation and verify performance against design parameters.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance of HVAC equipment including filter cleaning, coil washing, and refrigerant top-up.
• Identify and rectify faults in refrigeration circuits, electrical wiring, and control components of HVAC systems.
• Read and interpret HVAC layout drawings and coordinate duct routing with civil and structural teams on site.
• Maintain site maintenance logbooks, equipment service records, and daily work completion reports for supervisor review.
• Follow all safety protocols including lock-out tag-out, electrical insulation checks, and height work procedures.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• ITI in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution.
• 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience with split AC, VRF, and AHU installation at commercial or industrial sites.
• Practical knowledge of refrigerant handling, pressure testing, and leak detection procedures.
• Ability to read basic MEP layout drawings and identify equipment locations and piping routes.
• Working knowledge of electrical safety procedures and control panel basics for HVAC equipment.
• Willingness to work at active construction sites and travel to project locations across Coimbatore.
• Prior experience with HVAC commissioning and performance verification is an advantage for senior technician roles.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
