📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end MEP installation activities from shop drawing approval through commissioning and client handover.
• Prepare and review MEP BOQs, material submittals, and technical data sheets for consultant and client approval.
• Coordinate with structural, civil, and architectural teams to resolve MEP clashes and sleeve positions.
• Track the MEP installation schedule, identify delays, and prepare recovery plans to meet project milestones.
• Manage the RFI and drawing submittal process to ensure timely consultant approvals for installation continuity.
• Oversee MEP commissioning activities including testing, balancing, performance verification, and snag closure.
• Prepare monthly progress reports, variation order documentation, and as-built drawing packages for client handover.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution.
• 2 to 6 years of experience in MEP project execution at commercial or industrial construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of at least two MEP disciplines with working knowledge of the remaining disciplines.
• Experience in managing MEP BOQ, material procurement, and subcontractor scope coordination.
• Familiarity with commissioning protocols for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera for tracking MEP installation schedules.
• Good communication and documentation skills for managing submittals, RFIs, and client correspondence.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Electrical or Mechanical Engineering for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing engineering roles; Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering for site supervisor and technician roles; ITI Electrician or Plumber for site tradesman roles; AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP for design and drafting roles; ASHRAE, NBC Part 8, and IS 1646 fire fighting code knowledge; CPVC and HDPE plumbing specification knowledge; CMVP (Certified Measurement and Verification Professional) for energy audit roles; electrical licence (wireman and supervisor) from TNERC for electrical contractor roles; IS 732 and CPRI standards for electrical testing and commissioning
