📋 Job Description

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Own the complete MEP project delivery from contract award through construction and handover for assigned projects.
• Manage MEP project P and L including cost-to-complete tracking, variation revenue, and subcontractor cost control.
• Lead multi-discipline MEP teams including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire fighting engineers and supervisors.
• Chair weekly MEP coordination meetings with the main contractor, consultant, and client representatives.
• Review and approve all MEP submittals, shop drawings, and commissioning test reports before submission.
• Manage contract risks, claims, and variation orders to protect project margin and contractual entitlements.
• Ensure safe delivery of MEP works with zero LTIFR and full compliance with site HSE requirements.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• 6 to 14 years of progressive MEP contracting experience with at least 3 years managing full MEP scope as project manager.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering MEP projects above Rs.15 crore contract value on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of all MEP disciplines including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
• Commercial acumen including contract administration, variation management, and project P and L ownership.
• Excellent client communication and conflict resolution skills for managing consultants, main contractors, and clients.
• Experience with FIDIC or NEC contract conditions used in large commercial and infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
